Today I bought Emily's present (a GUESS watch) and she bought mine (a D&G watch). Mum will not like that a lot, we spent a lot of money, but we used our own savings and some money that my parents and grandparents gave us. Mum and dad changed their timetables at the hospital so that they could be at home in December 24 and 25 (so today they had to be at the hospital the whole day). They were both working at Christmas. What a mess that would be! Today dad had a surgery and when he arrived home I was so anxious to talk with him about it. He explains me a lot about medicine and has I also want to be a doctor, I love listening to his stories. Mum his treating a person who has cancer. She has also been telling me stories about that situation. While I hear them, it's like: «wow, oh my god, I'd love to have your jobs!» And dad says I'll can. I wish he's right. I love dinner time. It's when we are all together and when my parents share the most their experiences at the hospital during the day; it's when Emily tries to convince dad about the advantages of being vegetarian; it's when I eat the dessert first and everyone laughs; it's when Sophie (my little sister) puts vegetables she doesn't like in my plate (when mum isn't looking) and Emily and I laugh a lot with her. I also like to go to Emily's bedroom (or when she goes to mine) and talk to her for hours, watch films or tell jokes and laugh. Oh my god, this text just made me realize that we are a big happy family.
